OneSight Research Foundation supports optical research and education, granting money annually toward vision research focused on diabetic and pediatric eye diseases and offering awards to students pursuing a degree in Optometry.

OneSight India has launched a program to promote and reward outstanding research work in the field of Optometry. The program involves the top 4 optometry schools in India:
- Elite School of Optometry, Chennai
- The Lotus School of Optometry, Mumbai
- Adityajyot, Mumbai
- Bharti Vidyapeeth, Pune
Outstanding research work from each school will be evaluated by an elite jury comprising of eminent academicians and doctors from the four schools and One Sight International. Every year the jury will select the best research work and will award that school with a research grant.
This program is planned to be annual feature with the hope of including more Optometry schools into this prestigious program in the coming years.
Optometric Student Recognition
With the objective of encouraging young students of Optometry, OneSight India has teamed up with the 'Elite School of Optometry, Chennai'. The Elite School of Optometry is one of the most prestigious Optometry Schools in India, having pioneered the 4 year Baccalaureate course in Optometry. Every year the most outstanding students in 8 chosen subjects will be awarded medals and certificates of merit by OneSight India during the annual graduation ceremony.
