New Clinic Model Debuts in Thailand
The Thailand OneSight Clinic (January 25 – February 6) was a standard Clinic, one of OneSight’s four new Global Clinic models for 2010. The standard Clinic is similar to Clinics held in 2009, but includes a more in-depth eye exam, enabling OneSight to provide better quality care.
Two new stations were added and a hand-held auto-refractor was used in some cases, allowing doctors to go right to where patients are. A number of eye problems were diagnosed, including lattice dystrophy, a hereditary corneal disease, and pterygium, which is common in those who have too much sun exposure.
