Royalty Helps Provide Vision Care at India Clinic

OneSight visited the Indian state of Rajasthan (February 15-27), with volunteers eager to help residents of this densely populated desert region. The Clinic was so important to the area that the Maharaja, or king, of Rajasthan came to tour the site. He even tried out the inventory management system!

Thousands of residents received eyewear, including a 19-year-old who couldn’t see past his nose; a woman in her 50s who smiled from ear to ear when gazing at a world she couldn’t see before; and a woman who previously had cataract surgery and can only see out of one eye.
