OneSight Global Eye Care
Each year, OneSight’s trained volunteers and doctors travel around the world to hand-deliver free vision care and eyewear to thousands of adults and children in need. Patients receive a thorough optical exam by licensed eye doctors and eyewear is dispensed. To provide the best quality, complete care, we also partner with local opthalmologists or international doctor outreach organizations to perform optical surgery for those patients referred from our Clinic.
Our trained volunteers distribute both recycled and new eyewear and non-prescription sunglasses during Global Clinics.
In 2013, we will conduct 14 Clinics in 8 countries. To date, OneSight has completed more than 200 Clinics in 40 different countries, helping more than 3.5 million people. See where else in the world we've given the gift of sight to those in need.
Meet Our Recipients
Imagine not being able to see to learn in school, hold a job, or perform daily tasks. Imagine not being able to see the faces of your loved ones or the world around you.
These are very real challenges for millions of people around the world who do not have access to, or who can not afford, vision care. See how we help change lives.
