OneSight Clinic Changes Lives in Benin

During the Benin, Africa OneSight Clinic (September 6-18), team members provided in-depth eye exams. OneSight Global Eye Care Clinics allow recipients to receive eye exams similar to what is given in doctors’ offices and helped Clinic doctors discover common eye diseases and infections.

This was evident with a six-week-old girl, whose mother was very worried about her vision. Clinic doctors determined the child had a severe eye infection and treated her with antibiotic drops. Left untreated, the infection could have permanently damaged her eyes. Thanks to OneSight Clinic volunteers, this child’s life has been changed forever.
