OneSight Volunteers Welcomed in China

The OneSight Clinic in China (May 10 – 24) opened with a special ceremony hosted by the Qingdao Federation for Disabled Persons. Several important dignitaries welcomed OneSight volunteers, grateful for the gift they were about to provide to local residents.
 
When the Clinic got underway, thousands were helped, including a calligrapher who had been prescribed a pair of glasses that weren’t very suitable for this kind of work. When Dana, a OneSight volunteer, heard this, she found a pair with lower magnification that allowed him to work more efficiently. As a thank you, the man provided Dana with a calligraphy sample. Thanks to all the Clinic volunteers who traveled to Qingdao to help local residents work, learn and live better through improved vision.
