The OneSight Research Foundation supports optical research and education, granting more than $250,000 annually toward vision research focused on diabetic and pediatric eye diseases and offering thousands of dollars in scholarships to students pursuing a degree in Optometry.
Research Grants
We are committed to preserving vision through our “See the CureTM” program. Through “See the Cure,” the Foundation funds research and treatment for diabetic eye diseases, in search of a cure for diabetic retinopathy – the number one cause of blindness in the US. To date, OneSight Research Foundation has awarded more than $6.4 million in grants to ourganizations committed to vision preservation. Currently, these programs are only available in the United States.
Optometric Scholarships
To help those pursuing a Doctor of Optometry degree, we award 20 scholarships annually in the amount of $2,000 each through the Dr. Stanley Pearle Scholarship Fund. Currently, these programs are only available in the United States.
Partner With OneSight
As an organization, we do not select our recipients. Instead, we rely on partnerships with local charitable 501(c)(3) organizations to pre-screen patients based on visual and financial need.
