Research Grants

We are committed to preserving vision through our “See the CureTM” program. Through “See the Cure,” the Foundation funds research and treatment for diabetic eye diseases, in search of a cure for diabetic retinopathy – the number one cause of blindness in the US. To date, OneSight Research Foundation has awarded more than $7.1 million in grants to organizations committed to vision preservation. Apply for a grant or call us at (972) 277-6191 or email us for a hard copy. Applications must be submitted by June 30, 2012.

Optometric Scholarships

To help those pursuing a Doctor of Optometry degree, we award twenty scholarships annually in the amount of $2,000 each through the Dr. Stanley Pearle Scholarship Fund. See the 2012 application and eligibility guidelines

Since its inception in 2007, the Fund has awarded a total of $140,000 in scholarships to 70 students. The scholarship is named in memory of Dr. Stanley Pearle, founder of Pearle Vision, who believed strongly in education, leadership and community service.

Partner with OneSight

As an organization, we do not select our patients. Instead, we rely on partnerships with local charitable 501(c)(3) organizations to pre-screen patients based on visual and financial need.
