Day 5 & 6 Rolled In Together

WOW!!! Talk about making a difference & impacting the lives of thousands..... Team Thailand came back after a wonderful weekend and gave it their all! We diligently made every effort to ensure that we provided the BEST eyecare experience for ALL who registered and received the Gift of Sight. The number of locals flooded the premises hours before we arrived to the scene. And no matter how exhausted we were, our adrenaline kicked into gear and made it to the finish line. The excitment and energy was infectious as we came together for this purpose - to GIVE the GIFT of SIGHT!! It's a beautiful thing to see a team of individual gel together like oil and cogs in a wheel and produce phenomenal results!

We ended Day 6 by helping about 2500 patients & Day 7 at 2700... Our week to date total is currently sitting at about 11,479!!!

Last night (Day 7) we had our Silent Auction and we raised almost about $4K. Lots of excitement and participation from the team & our host team which made it all the more FUN! Also, our team has exceeded our fundraising goal of $15,000 before the contribution from the auction. So thank you to all of our supporters & families for the LOVE! Kop-kun-ka (THANK YOU)

Here's a story from our very own Dr. Alyssa:

"The miracle of the day! We referred this lady to the local hospital for imaging suspecting the worst but hoping for the best! She will be seen the following day and am hopefully we caught it in time. Awaiting the results hopefully before we leave! I couldnt have asked for a better birthday present!" (See photo below)
