A Wave Says It All at Ghana Clinic

A young girl who was very nearsighted received free vision care and eyewear during the OneSight Global Clinic to Ghana, June 13-24. Clinic volunteer Chantel Van Straaten had completed the patient’s autorefraction and followed her to dispensing to see how everything was going. While the girl was fit with her new glasses, she spotted Chantal from a distance and began to wave. That wave meant more than just a hello, it served as a reminder that OneSight volunteers are making a big difference in the lives of those in need.
