LensCrafters Partnership Brings Vision Van to Vancouver

More than 1,000 Vancouver schoolchildren were helped by OneSight Vision Van volunteers in November, thanks to the support of LensCrafters. This Clinic marked the first time in five years that a Vision Van has made the trip to Canada.

More than 70 volunteers from LensCrafters participated in the program with additional help from other Lux brands, including Pearle Vision, Sunglass Hut and Sears Optical.  The Vision Van program not only helped raise awareness of OneSight, it was also a great way for the brands to connect on a personal level with the people of Vancouver.

Volunteers conducted vision screenings November 3-17 at:

  • Grandview Elementary, Vancouver
  • Britannia Secondary School, Vancouver
  • Coquitlam Centre Mall, Vancouver
  • Queen Elizabeth Secondary School, Surrey

The Clinic received media coverage on the popular morning show, Breakfast Television Vancouver. Watch the full segment.
