OneSight and Luxottica to Provide Aid to Haiti

Update: Luxottica Retail is joining Oakley in making a financial contribution to the Red Cross for the relief and development efforts in Haiti. Luxottica Retail today announced a $10,000 donation.

Over the coming weeks and months, OneSight and Luxottica will be working to provide aid to the earthquake victims in Haiti. Haiti has historically been too unstable for OneSight to safely conduct a Clinic, and given the current devastation and urgent need for primary care, we will not be sending a Clinic team. OneSight is, however, working on ways to provide optical assistance to first-responder agencies (Red Cross, Salvation Army, etc.) that will need help once they can begin to address secondary optical needs. 

In addition, we had previously made a commitment to donate reading glasses, round Clinic eyewear and equipment to Mountain Top Ministry, a mission team scheduled to travel to Haiti in late May.
