Pair of Glasses Helps Student Stay in His Seat

The Richmond, Virginia OneSight Regional Clinic (October 17-21) provided vision care and eyewear to 800 children, including fifth grader, Jaquin. He told Clinic volunteers he was excited about getting glasses. When asked why, Jaquin said, “My teacher won’t yell at me for moving out of my seat. I won’t have to walk up to the front of the class to see the board anymore.”

The local community also took note of the great work happening at the Richmond Clinic. The Richmond Times-Dispatch spoke to Clinic volunteer Darla All (LensCrafters) about the importance of OneSight and the eye exam process.
