Student Sees Board Clearly Thanks to Atlanta Clinic

Our 2012 OneSight Clinics kicked off in Atlanta, Georgia, January 8-14! Clinic volunteers made a real impact – including Dr. Cynthia Cieszko, an affilated doctor from LensCrafters, who helped a high school student see clearly for the first time in years.

“She had been without glasses since middle school and constantly had to walk up to the chalkboard to see it clearly. The other kids in her class would make fun of her for this,” said Cynthia. “After examining her, I found that she was very nearsighted. I told her that she would get a pair of glasses so she could see the board without having to get up. She was so happy that she started to cry. I know these glasses will make a big difference in her life.”
