Sustainable Clinics Come to Life in The Gambia

In addition to being the Global Clinic where OneSight volunteers helped their eight millionth patient, The Gambia is also a great example of OneSight’s sustainable Clinic model. The three-year partnership with SightSavers International allowed OneSight doctors to train local Gambian teams in pathology, refraction and lab processing techniques to ensure this life changing work continues long after the Clinic. Now local residents of the Gambia will be able to provide eye exams and exact prescriptions in the new OneSight lab to people in need.
