About OneSight
OneSight, A Luxottica Group Foundation, is a family of charitable vision care programs dedicated to improving vision through outreach, research and education. Through OneSight, Luxottica employees, doctors, partners and other community volunteers give the gift of sight through four program areas:
- Global Eye Care - OneSight Clinic teams travel to developing countries to hand-deliver free vision care and eyewear to those in need.
- Regional Eye Care - OneSight volunteers provide free vision care and eyewear to those in need in their regions through organized Clinics and Vision Van programs.
- Community Eye Care - OneSight helps those in need in their local communities through in-store and outreach programs.

Preventative Eye Care - OneSight funds research to address eye health issues throughout the world and invests in the next generation of optometric professionals through scholarships and education.

Musicians Gear Up for EyeRock New York
EyeRock New York presented by Converse and John Varvatos by REM Eyewear will take place on March 20 at BB King Blues Club in mid-town Manhattan. OneSight Welcomes EyeVan to the Family!
EyeVan, a 40-foot state of the art production vehicle, joins our Vision Van fleet across North America! Check out our EyeVan video on You Tube!
OneSight and LensCrafters have partnered to take Luxottica's state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities on the road with a new production vehicle that deliver sophisticated on-site service for our Regional Clinics. EyeVan:
- Eliminates weeks of wait time between the exam and delivery of glasses. Now nearly all recipients, including those with complex prescriptions, will leave our OneSight Regional Clinics seeing clearly the same day they receive their eye exam.
- The Van is designed with a goal of leaving significantly less waste behind when the Van leaves Clinic including:
- A water filtration system which enables us to filter and re-use water used in lens production and cleaning
- A trash compactor, which will enable us to throw away a fraction of the amount of waste typically generated in a days work on the van.

Where We Give
Nearly every day, OneSight volunteers are helping the world see in their local communities, regions and around the world. Each year, OneSight conducts two-week Clinics in developing countries where our doctors and trained volunteers provide free eye exams and recycled eyewear to thousands of people in need. To date, we’ve run 155 Clinics in 31 different developing countries. OneSight operates five global recycling centers and has thousands of locations to donate eyewear around the world. OneSight needs to collect and recycle 1.2 million pairs of used eyewear annually in order to support 20 Global Clinics each year. Research & Education
OneSight supports research and education, granting millions toward vision preservation and scholarships to students pursuing a degree in Optometry.
Research Grants - In an effort to help preserve clear vision around the world, OneSight funds research and treatment to seek cures for preventable blindness.
Optometric Scholarships - To help those pursuing a Doctor of Optometry degree, OneSight awards ten scholarships annually in the amount of $2,000 each.
