Sunglass Hut’s Exclusive Collection Benefits OneSight

Sunglass Hut announced the return of the Artist Series, an annual program which sources up-and-coming artists to create exclusive collectible sunglasses in support of OneSight. The fourth installment of the Artist Series collection features Houston-based artist Magda Sayeg, who is credited with spawning the international yarn bombing movement. Her work has been featured on American monuments and in conjunction with South By Southwest and the Austin City Limits Festival.

Sayeg has created 100 unique, hand-knitted designs for Sunglass Hut on the latest styles of Vogue frames. Each piece is signed and numbered by Sayeg and will be sold exclusively through sunglasshut.com. The sunglasses retail for $129.95 with $30 of each sale benefiting OneSight.

“There has always been an odd relationship between fashion and art and the worlds continue to collide," said Magda Sayeg. “The artist series is a perfect example and I’m honored and happy to be a part of it. It’s fun to expand my horizons in terms of my art and dabble in the world of product."
